Introduction to the Club

We offer a vibrant and friendly atmosphere where ladies of all ages and from all walks of life can meet in a centrally-located clubhouse or join us for outside excursions and events. Our programme, with details of events, special offers and diary dates, is contained in our own publication: London Lady.

The Sloane Club in Chelsea kindly provides us with both a venue for our Thursday clubhouse talks and also the opportunity of weekend residency. Our members are welcome to use their excellent facilities, including an informal restaurant - The Garden Room - and the more formal main dining room during weekdays.

Talks

From light-hearted to more serious concerns, our clubhouse talks cover a very broad range of subjects. Luxury goods manufacturers, specialist services, politicians and health experts, unique small businesses, celebrities and world-famous organisations have all presented to us. The clubhouse talks last for one hour on a Thursday morning and refreshments are served beforehand.

Events
A varied programme of events has established the club as a valuable means of access to most of London's top institutions - museums, colleges, corporations, well-known retailers as well as other clubs and societies. Over the years we have worked with an enormous variety of institutions and also benefit from having our own members working within them in many cases, allowing us the sort of access that is not available to members of the public. We benefit from reciprocity and special discounts from many other clubs and societies. Our own dedicated travel agent organises interesting trips abroad for small groups of members.
