Introduction to the Club
We offer a vibrant and friendly atmosphere where ladies of all ages and from all walks of life can meet for clubhouse talks on Thursdays at Peter Jones in Sloane Square or join us for outside excursions and events. Our programme, with details of events, special offers and diary dates, is contained in our own publication: London Lady.
Talks
From light-hearted to more serious concerns, our clubhouse talks cover a very broad range of subjects. Luxury goods manufacturers, specialist services, politicians and health experts, unique small businesses, celebrities and world-famous organisations have all presented to us. Also we have the chance to learn about and try the latest products from the John Lewis Partnership. The clubhouse talks last for one hour on a Thursday morning and refreshments are served beforehand.
Events
A varied programme of events has established the club as a valuable means of access to most of London’s top institutions - museums, colleges, corporations, well-known retailers as well as other clubs and societies. We have worked with an enormous variety of institutions and benefit from having our own members working within them in many cases, allowing us privileged access. We offer special discounts from many other clubs and societies and we organise interesting trips abroad for small groups of members.
