28th January
Celebrate: The Art of the Special Occasion. Pushing the boat out takes time, planning and a bit of magic. Lucia van der Post, legendary journalist and author, returns to the clubhouse to treat us to inspiration, practical advice and a dash of etiquette - all contained in her new book.

4th February
Dignity and Dying. Edward Turner, Trustee and Treasurer will tell us his family’s moving story, portrayed in the BBC drama A Short Stay in Switzerland. He is accompanied by Sarah Wootton, Chief Executive, and together they will explain how to make informed decisions about the care and treatment of those near the end of life, what your own rights are as the law exists and how the law could be changed.

18th February
Vanessa de Lisle. Former editor at Vogue, trend consultant to the industry, personal shopper and talented stylist, gives us her special insight into the International Spring Collections. Her talk will be illustrated with fabulous photographs of the catwalk shows including Galliano, Marc Jacobs, Chanel and Donna Karan. All you need to know for fashion lovers from someone on the very inside track.

25th February
Cadogan Travel. The Far East is a melange of colours, religions, traditions, amazing wildlife and superb scenery. Our favourite traveller, Anna Baccanello, will take us on a journey through Thailand, Malaysia, Borneo and Indonesia which includes travelling on the Eastern & Oriental train, staying in long houses with the tribal people of Sarawak and all the delicious spice of life in the Orient.

4th March
Neill Strain Floral Couture. This outstanding designer demonstrates the creation of stunning flower arrangements. Neill, who holds a Master Diploma in Dutch Floral Design, will show you some of the skills taught at his school within the beautiful boutique in Ebury Street.



18th March
Your Eyes - what you see and what others see.
The London Clinic presents Mr Hugo Henderson and Mr Moin Mohamed, expert consultant ophthalmic surgeons, who will discuss how to keep your eyes healthy. Common eye conditions including macular degeneration, puffy and watering eyes, glaucoma and cataracts will be discussed with what can be done to treat them.

25th March
Patrick Whyatt, well-known Hatton Garden jeweller, will tell us about the fascinating traditions built up at the heart of English jewellery manufacturing over 400 years. Recent trends show a resurgence of interest in pearls, brooches and bespoke jewellery which can capture the character of the wearer with skilful design.

‘Supercherry’ fine chocolates, cheeses and sweet wines for sampling and sale.
